WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A CLEAR SENSE OF PROGRESS WITH A DIFFERENT FOCUS EACH WEEK.
Each week we focus on different areas with a 1 hour workshop that includes a lesson and group activities. We also will provide homework and guideline for you to follow. The program will be taught by a Deaf Language Model and a hearing facilitator to enhance your access and accelerate your learning.
WHY A CRASH COURSE 4-WEEK WORKSHOP?
We want to give you focused time and space to learn about Deaf Culture in meaningful ways. Each week, we’ll dive into a different theme so you can better understand the experiences of Deaf and hearing people, the impact of accessibility and technology, and the challenges of visual/audio fatigue.
Our goal is to help you expand your knowledge, reflect on your own perspectives, and gain confidence in engaging with the Deaf community. By the end of this 4-week workshop, you will have stronger awareness and practical insights you can carry into everyday life.
